1. Information we collect

We collect your email address and name when you create an account. We also collect usage data (pages crawled, features used) to improve the service.

When you sign in, we record the IP address and browser user-agent string of your active session for security purposes (single-session enforcement and new-device alerts).

2. How we use your information

Your information is used to provide and improve Webtinel, send transactional emails (index completions, alerts), and communicate service updates. We never sell your data.

Session metadata (IP address and user-agent) is used solely to detect concurrent logins and notify you of new-device sign-ins. The lawful basis is legitimate interest under UK GDPR Art 6(1)(f), securing your account.

3. Data storage

Your data is stored on secure servers in the EU. Website index data belongs to you and can be deleted at any time by deleting projects or your account.

4. Third-party services

We use Google PageSpeed Insights API for performance scoring, Stripe for payment processing, and Sentry for error monitoring. Each has its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (JWT refresh tokens in httpOnly cookies). We use localStorage for UI preferences (theme, sidebar state). No tracking cookies are used.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time through your account settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data within 30 days.

You can sign out of all devices via the logout button. Signing in elsewhere will automatically end any other active session on your account.
